| 27249 | 13'7 Feet 1960 Glasspar G3 | Sold - | |
|
| This is my baby, but I can't take it to Idaho with me. This was the first fibreglass boat invited to any ACBS show in the country back in the 80's. that was at the Weirs on Lake Winnepausaukee. I painted the shark mouth on it to replicate one I knew as a teenager that had come from the factory like that. Since then, I have heard of 4 others that had a shark mouth. The boat needs new stringers, floor, and transom. On the other hand, the boat is complete with all the original hardware, trim and controls. I even have the G3 badges that hide the joint between the main hull and the sponsons. Windshield is a replica of an original that I made out of Lexan. Everything else is original.
I also have a collection of outboards (mostly Mercurys) including the 90 hp that I was building for the G 3. |

|
| 1956 Dunphy 14 feet, molded hull like a Whirlwind, this unusual design was created by U.S. Molded shapes has a distinctive bow and high crown deck. It once had a “v” windshield. The big horn has a pump under the dash.
The high crowned deck and old style coaming give this boat a look that few ever have. The 1953 Ford steering wheel was adapted to a marine cable steering system. The hull appears to have been fiber glassed and is holding its old finish well. There is soft wood in the structural members near the transom which appears solid. This boat has the most unique high crown deck I have ever seen! Finished up nicely it would be a head turner, easy to maintain, and have excellent handling due to the molded hull and rounded chines.

This model was close to the last Whirlwind made, narrow like the 14ft, for smooth ride, but extra long and roomy. It has all the nicest features and is in brand new condition. The 40 hp Evinrude Lark is the best looking, highest quality, smoothest running engine they ever made and has very low hours, barely broken in. Both owners took the best possible care of both boat and engine. Anything ever needed was done right away and it is still all new and waiting for you to enjoy. This model has an automatic choke and thermostat so it runs at proper operating temperature, new fuel pump diaphragm and fresh coils in the ignition system, and comes equipped with new gas tanks, and fuel hoses. | Here’s a boat that’s really special! She’s a genuine, original Buehler Turbocraft, the very first commercially available jet boat. Today, original Turbocrafts are exceptionally rare, and this example is undoubtedly the finest in existence. She would make a wonderful addition to a collection of historically significant boats. This one is one of the very first, hull #18. She’s been well cared-for over the years - engine rebuilt, beautiful white Awlgrip paint on her hull and deck, proper re-upholstery - but she’s also amazingly original: original steering wheel, dashboard with working “Turbocraft” instruments, original foot accelerator pedal, original indicator lights to tell the operator the position of her jet’s deflector plate. She’s even got her original, factory-installed, in-dash AM radio. |

|
| This is one of 28 surviving split cockpits from 1934-1936, and the only survivor from 1935. This isn't a rare opportunity, it's your ONLY opportunity to own a 1935 16' Runabout. There is no record of it ever having been restored, and excluding the upholstery, we believe it to be 1935 original. Could use a refinishing, but current finish is could enough to display or use in the water. It's been covered in heated storage for years, and hasn't seen the water since 2003. Owner of this boat feels it's a shame to keep this boat locked up, and hopes someone with more time can cherish this exquisite piece of history as much as he did. This Gar Wood Runabout is truly an extraordinary find. Boat is located at Chelsea Boat Works, in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Viewing is available. |

The hardware is also original and in very nice condition and the upholstery has been re-done and also believed to be correct. This is a inspired restoration and a very lovely example of one of the turn of the century boat builders in lovely condition and offered with the original Lycoming engine. Mullins were built in Salem, Ohio and first produced decorative pressed steel items and then enetered into the boat market in the late 1890's. Very few of these boats are known to exist even though at one time they were one of the country's largest boatbuilders. |

| This rare Gar Wood, in good original condition, is in the water and running. Introduced during the depression, this model was advertised a "tpically Gar Wood in every detail from stem to stern and the greatest value ever offered in the low price class". the model proved successful, continuing through 1940 and the hull design was used for the very popular speedster. Only 15 of these 16 footers were built in 1938, and this boat is complete with factory hardware, gauges, sternlight, with everything intact and working down to the cigar lighter. The engine, original to the boat, was rebuilt in 1975 with little use since; the gas tank and lines were replaced last year. A spare engine is available.
