|
| M/Y Harmony was designed by John L Hacker and Ben Huskins. Hacker designed and Huskins built the vessel. The client was a car dealer who used the boat as a daycruiser with his family.
During WW II she was listed by the US Navy, who tore out all the luxurious interior fittings and built a new interior more practical for a patrol boat.
After the war she was refitted as a private yacht and got many tender hearted owners who gave her continuous care and upgradings.
Since some years back, Harmony has Gothenburg as her base port. Her owners have now however other priorities and the boat is thus for sale. The old and simple interior from the war has been removed. Her spacious saloon waits to be designed and receive a classical interior in accordance with the wishes of the new owner or in a strict original way. The hull will also need some minor patching to get into super condition. After this you will have a commuter beyond all comparison.

|
| This is quite likely the ONLY unrestored Gold Cup Race boat in the country. This beauty has a wondeful history, Twin V12's and art deco styling reminiscent of that era. The engines are rebuilt and ready to go but the hull will require work. The term "one of a kind" is overused, but in this case it is the best way to describe this boat. Over $ 70K has been invested into the reconditioning of these engines. This boat is destined to be the most talked about boat in the country once it is put back into action by the next owner. The current owner has over $ 500k invested in this project and will entertain reasonable offers as well as possible trades for wooden boats under 27', classic cars or a late model 55' to 65' Motoryacht such as a Fleming, Sonship or similar. |
