It has been refinished (no restoration required) it is in great condition!, no dry rot or ribs or structure that had to be replaced. It has been stored inside a boat house or garage. It can be rowed, sailed or motored (under 5hp). The dinghy is complete with oak rudder, tiller, dagger board, gaff rigged mast and boom. Brand new sail (never been used) made by Keeble Boats in Bellville. Only thing required for sailing is new ropes for rigging or oars for rowing. | My father purchased this rare (Boat ID # 216) and beautiful Shepherd Runabout in 1946 from the Ontario Provincial Police Kingston detachment. It was designed to patrol the Kingston waterfront and catch rum and cigarette smugglers. The Glenmac has been a member of our family since. The Glenmac was professionally completely restored and refitted by Andrew Atkins of Lansdowne Ontario in 2004. This craft won the “Best Canadian Built Boat” in 2005 and 2006 at the ACBS Vintage Boat Show at Alexandra Bay NY. The Glenmac starts, runs, and shifts smoothly and is a true example of the fusion of classic art and modern function. | ||||

| Doloris is a beautifully restored classic that I purchased in 2004 from the back bay of Wolfeboro. She spent her life on Winnipesaukee which is where I used her 90% of the time, the remainder on an island in Sebago. She is in exceptional condition, with a brand new 5200 bottom installed by Bruce Reynolds in Meredith NH in 2007. During that process, we repaired any suspect frames with original mahogany. I re-powered the boat with modern 350 Crusader which puts out around 275 HP. Doloris has been lovingly cared for every day that I have owned her. When not in use, she lives in a barn near my home. I feel strongly that nobody really owns a wooden boat, we simply care for them to pass to the next generation. Oh and by the way, I REALLY hope she stays in New Hampshire.
