The boat has been completely restored utilizing about 50% of her original frames and hullsides, then cold molding using West System processes and Courong marine plywood. The Rolls Royce Meteor 750 HP engine is carburated to run on regular fuel, and the craft is truely a daily user, not museum furniture. | 26976 | 19 Feet 1937/1999 Chris-Craft Reproduction Race Boat | $37,500 | |
| Not to be confused with the much more common “Racing Runabouts” built from 1948 through 1954, Model 517 Special Race Boats were true race boats built light and run hard. As a result, few authentic examples have survived. Pandora is a meticulously executed reproduction, built in Australia, and finished by New England Boat and Motor. Identical in appearance and performance to her pre-war ancestor, she incorporates the finest in modern technology and craftsmanship. Her hull is constructed of cold-molded marine plywood and Philippine mahogany totally encapsulated in epoxy resin. Her bottom is sheathed with two layers of fiberglass cloth and she is beautifully finished in blue and white Awlgrip. Powered by a 300 hp 350 c.i. Corvette V8 from the GM Hi-Performance Division, she easily (and reliably) equals the race performance of her predecessors. She has just undergone some minor cosmetic restoration and mechanical upgrades and is in as new condition, ready to run. |

| 26658 | 35 Feet 1930 Miss Dee Wite Torpedo Triple Cockpit Runabout | $600,000 | |
| This is quite likely the ONLY unrestored Gold Cup Race boat in the country. This beauty has a wondeful history, Twin V12's and art deco styling reminiscent of that era. The engines are rebuilt and ready to go but the hull will require work. The term "one of a kind" is overused, but in this case it is the best way to describe this boat. Over $ 70K has been invested into the reconditioning of these engines. This boat is destined to be the most talked about boat in the country once it is put back into action by the next owner. The current owner has over $ 500k invested in this project and will entertain reasonable offers as well as possible trades for wooden boats under 27', classic cars or a late model 55' to 65' Motoryacht such as a Fleming, Sonship or similar. |
