| Made on Niagara on the Lake in Ontario Canada, this Shephard Ski Bee is 16 feet long and had the hull and decks done 4 years ago. Since then the boat has been well stored indoors. It is being sold with a fitted cover, a Tee-Nee trailer and a strong 62 HP 4 cylinder engine. The boat was equipped with a gas tank for better performance and the tank was installed up front. The motor runs great and an electric fuel pump was added for ease of starting and also allows you to run the fuel lower. twin spotlights and siren on the decks. It is a previous show winner at the presitgous Gravenhurst Boat Show held each summer. This is a great boat and a fine example of Canadian craftsmanship. |

| The Shepherd family established a reputation for perfection in workmanship and finish in the boats they built. It was said that the Shepherd boat designs were ahead of their time. An early model was the Honduras mahogany runabout which ranged from 16 feet to 30 feet in length. The Company built boats from 1928-1978 in Niagara Ontario, Canada.
The specifications of this model are: Beam 6’4”; Freeboard-Fore &Aft 28 1/2” & 22”; Bottom- Double 3/8” Planked Mahogany; Sides-Batten Seamed Mahogany ½”; Power: Chrysler 125H.P.; Fuel- 21 Gallons; Steering-Drag-Link CCL Mounted Gear Shift and Throttle; Red Leather Seats 5. Everything else is original. The boat looks very original and is good condition. The boat will go very fast with the strong engine in it reaching speeds of 45 MPH. The boat sits over the water year round and is always covered and has never been used in salt water. Has velvet drive transmission and 2 propellers. The bottom of the boat had a new coat of paint 2 years ago. One coat of varnish was painted on the hull in 2009. Two boards and the transom rail
were replaced in 2009. The boat has always sat on a cradle in an enclosed boathouse with a cover over it. I have owned this boat since 1983, and I am the

| This particular Shepherd has an interesting ownership history that explains some of its unique features. The second owner of the boat in the 1960's was the president of General Motors of Canada, and the 2 next subsequent owners in the 1970's - 1990's were also former senior GM executives. In the mid 1960's the boat underwent a major re-fitting with all new top-line GM mechanics, electronics and comfort features including twin small block, high performance Corvette engines (327 cu.in./ 300 hp.), Cadillac upholstery, etc. The boat has been maintained immaculately ever since, and was totally stripped and refinished (11 coats of varnish) last winter. A trailer is available for the boat. She has been in Canada and a fresh water boat all of her life. |
