The light on the front is right at the very beginning and center of the boat. There is a telescopic white light on the rear port side. It has an Evinrude 25hp motor with Evinrude Simplex controls. It has electric start and forward controls that I have been told are original to the boat. Boat was used in 2008, registered in 2009 but never got to use it due to the rain we had here in Maine. 2668316 Feet 1934 Gar Wood Sweet 16$7,500
This is a rare opportunity to own a much sought after model with its split cockpit design. You'll be able to restore this one to your own high standards and specifications having the security of knowing that everything was done properly. There are so many potentionally hidden unknowns when buying someone elses restoration. You'll be the envy of everyone at the boat shows as you'll stand out from the crowd, as well as bring home the trophies. Anyone can own a Chris Craft, but only the real connoisseur can own a Gar Wood. Gar Woods ride better than their counterparts, thus making for a more enjoyable experience. The early 1934's, as this one is, had some features that make it even rarer. For those that enjoy the finer things in life this is the boat for you.
